Hey Rocksea,
Well, they (I also have a friend from Japan visiting)are going to be there for about 10 days and mostly around Delhi and Agra. They wanted to read about the social, cultural, religious, philosophical, historical aspects of the country as a whole.
By the way, you have a pretty neat website!Wonder how you chanced upon mine. Welcome.

hey sthira,
i should better recommend you some documentaries on india. best would be to watch michael palins travel accounts through india. if you or ur friends use torrents, they can get it from:
MVGroup at http://www.mvgroup.org (one wud need to register)
Himalaya with Micahel Palin
http://www.mvgroup.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=2277&hl=
He takes you into the social cultural historical philosophical aspects in india.
other related ones, search for it in the same web:
Legacy - Origins of Civilization - India - Empire of Spirit
Ayurveda - Art of Being
Lost temples of India, which is available at page 2 on india-unity in diversity on my web
etc etc.
keep wikipedia along.
other reccomendations: one of my friends had a trekking to the valley of flowers. i had gone near to it 4-5 years before though i took another route then. it would be a great experience if your friends go on such a trekking. may be you people know that rishikesh is the gateway to indian philossophy. it is kind of the place where you can say the himalayas start geographically. so if anyone likes to have a wonderful geographically enthralling view mixed with philosophy, spirituality and sports starting upward from rishikesh would be a great idea. but beware it wont be as easy as roaming around delhi n agra. so preethi’s blog abt valley of flowers is at http://oddthots.blogspot.com anyways it will also depend on what time/month they’re going to be in india
cheers, roxy

Yeah, great photos of Japan… it almost makes me miss snow. The bite of the cold winter air, the feeling of snowflakes melting on my oversized nose…
